The 1989 Earthquake had damaged most of the Water System in Southern belt of Udaypur district. The Organization initiated community based hand dug wells in 13 VDCs of Udaypur district in 1990-91. The success of total of 123 hand dug wells for drinking water purpose has added additional value in community mobilization which owns the heart and mind of the people and laid foundation to other activities with the support of the local community. This was early projects which had added value in the life of the people and organization also gained experience in community mobilization. Disaster Relief Fund has been instituted in all Municipalities after the formation of Disaster management committee representing the disaster affected people in community level.
